The final round of the season took us to Donington Park. Practice went well, sitting comfortably inside the top ten and feeling confident with the car.
Qualifying was tricky. The track was drying, conditions kept changing, and I made a few mistakes that cost us.
We ended up P17 for Race 1 and P15 for Race 2. Not ideal, but I knew the race pace was there.
Race 1:This one was a lot of fun. Hard, clean racing all the way through. We fought our way forward and showed real progress, finishing P10 after gaining seven positions. It was one of my strongest drives of the year in terms of race craft and consistency.
Race 2:We had another good start and climbed up to P7, but unfortunately another driver missed their braking point and took me out completely. The contact caused heavy damage, and for a moment it wasn’t clear if we’d even make it to the final race.
Race 3:Sadly, the damage from Race 2 made it impossible to start the final race. Not the way we wanted to end the weekend, but that’s racing.
Overall, it was still a great weekend and a strong way to close out the season. We showed how much we’ve evolved mentally, technically, and as a team. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made this year and I can’t wait for what’s coming next.
