We went into the weekend full of confidence. Practice went great, and we ended up P5 overall. The grid was tight, everyone was on the limit, so being that high up was a strong start.

Unfortunately, slipstream once again played a big role in qualifying. I put together a very clean lap, but without a tow it was tough to match the front-runners.

We qualified P15 for Race 1 and P13 for Race 2. Even though we were a bit on the back foot, I was happy with the result it showed that with slipstream we’d be right up there at the front.

Race 1 got a mega launch off the line and went straight into the top ten. The opening laps were intense. I fought hard but got caught in battles ahead, which allowed the chasing pack to close in. We dropped back to P16 at the flag. Frustrating, because the pace was definitely there.

Race 2:A big incident brought the race to a stop. Not much to say there, just glad everyone was alright.

Race 3:Started P15, finished P11. The race was messy, with red flags and interruptions, so we never really got the chance to show our full potential.

Overall, I learned a lot this weekend. Brands Hatch has always been one of those tracks I’ve dreamed of racing at, so to finally do it felt special. Despite the setbacks, the experience was incredible. We keep pushing.
